I have a wart looking bump on my finger. Smaller than a penny. I’ve had several of these, and my mom had me put on some remover that made the bump all white and eventually peel off. After reading a magazine, I saw that the bumps I was getting looked a lot like a very minor version of skin cancer. How do I know if its skin cancer or just a regular wart?

I’ve heard that skin cancer is very dangerous for your health and well being but I want to know about ten things that contribute to the risk of skin cancer so I’m sure that i don’t do it. Also can I have about five sun safe strategies. Which ones would you think work the best. Thanks for helping fight skin cancer. ( =

I am doing a project about nanoparticles used in sunscreen. Some people believe it can cause skin cancer, while others believe it protects from skin cancer. Are there any statistics I can use? Maybe some about which kinds of sunscreen have been most effective. Something including nanotechnology would be nice, but even just sunscreen statistics will do.
Please provide a link or two.
Thank you.

I have read that red cabbage contains chemicals (anthocyanins), that cause a person’s cells to create an enzyme that repairs DNA damage. I also read that strawberries contain a type of acid, along with polyphenols, that supposedly prevent skin cancer. Can anyone verify this? Any idea to the mechanism of the protective actions?
