I asked a question about an hour ago about why God wants to kill me and deprive my family of a supporting father. I was told that God loves me. Ok, tough love to the extreme. But what about my 4 children and wife?
Note: I have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Incurable and with no warning signs. Survival rate about 2%.
So what I got in response was a number of answers encouraging to have faith in God and that it was His plan to “bring me back”.
Well what about my wife and family? Is it His plan to make thenm suffer too?

I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in Nov of last year and even though I’m dealing with it, none of my friends or family are.
Roughly 5% of people with this kind of cancer are still alive 5 years later, but I am young and otherwise healthy so I see no reason I can’t be in this 5%.
I understand that they are scared and want to spend time with me, but I don’t need negative people dragging me down and I’m sick of everyone treating me like I’m old and terminal when I was symptom free 6 months ago and I’m only 22.

My nan died yesterday of pancreatic cancer and it was so quick, im not sure whether i believe in god but i cannot understand why she died and others live i.e osma bin laden etc

My son is a tattoo artist as well as his friend. My son has most of his body covered in tattoos. Most people are scared of him and he is such a Mama’s boy. I myself got my first tattoo at 40 yrs. My parents thought I was nuts. I now have 7 of them and they are all family related. I am not ashamed and neither is my family. As a matter of fact my girl scout troop (yes I am a leader) find them awesome. But at this time of year with summer clothing, when my daughter and I go shopping someone always seems to comment which I just shrug off and it makes my daughter uncomfortable. We are now in the year of 2006 and it is very common for women to get tattoos. Instead of people making rude remarks just ask why one got that perticular tattoo. One of mine is a baby angel—for my grandson who was born on 9-9-99 and he died on 9-20-99. So as you can tell that is in his memory. And one is of a heart with a rose and wings……in honor of my mom who was told she had pancreatic cancer.

Including my parents,mother-in-law and Aunt and my late husband, I have had to say farewell to 23 people, who mean’t so much in my life.? Sometimes, I think about it and say WHY? Why so young? Some of them between 48 years old and 60 years old. And I have just heard another friend has pancreatic cancer.
