Apparently European modes of treatment regarding radiation differ from the U. S med systems position for pancreatic cancer after a successful Whipple procedure, Why? What are My Fathers chances? The stats are not good that I have seen, However His brother lived 8 yrs after a 6 month prognosis for terminal Leukemia CLL. My Grandmother 88 says Norwegian ancestry resistant? My Grandfather contracted Hep C in 1970 bypass operation & lived to be 88 and only then did it get him in 2006 36 yrs later.

Hello ,
My good friend has pancreatic cancer she is only nineteen years old and she is very dainty she a very tiny person she weighs about a 104 Lbs.
and i was curious is she going to be weak from the radiation because of her size?
also i wanted to know is throwing up blood normal ?
because i notice she threw up alot of blood last night and she went to the hospital she already has cancer to her cervix and bones because it spread? could she have stomach cancer?
I’m truly worried about her , she needs some good medical care i mean she has alot of money but she chooses to go to the cancer treatment center of America in PA.
she really needs to go to LA for the treatment she needs , can anyone give me adivce on what to say to her about getting help i don’t want to sound rude.
Thanks

she has been clean since May. Her first check up went great nothing new. She just had her 3 mo. checkup and had a CEA test FOR THE 1ST TIME. (nothing to compare it to) and it came back a 6 does this mean her cancer is back. Looking for honest answers

My mom has pancreatic cancer and is SO fatigued. She is not doing chemo or radiation. It’s just wiping her out. What causes that? What will help? She can barely brush her teeth some days.
