Mesothelioma Cancer

I am a 32 year old male with fair skin. For the last 2 weeks, I have had a sensation that is identical to sunburn on the back side of my left shoulder. I can localize the area to about a 1×2 inch size, and it is slightly more painful in the center. Touching it or my shirt rubbing against it increases the pain. I haven’t noticed anything that helps. The area of skin looks completely normal, although I do have something like a skin tag or pimple within the area that recently scabbed over (I have some acne like lesions over my upper back, and have had them for a long time). The skin is smooth, no bumps or dryness. The pain is light and normally I only notice it when I am doing something like reading a book. It feels exactly like a mild sunburn.
I do not have any unusual health problems other than ulnar neuropathy (numbness) in my left arm affecting my pinkie and ring finger which began about a year ago.
Father died of pancreatic cancer mid 20s. Mom healthy

has left me speechless.
My mother is 87 years young. She has always been healthy, active, got regular check-ups, never been in a hospital (just to have her kids), never smoked and ate good. Her weight was 114 pounds when this happened. She lives alone.
About 2 months ago I talked to her and she told me she had a twinge under her left ribcage that wouldn’t go away. Other than that she felt fine. Went to the doctor and was told she had pancreatic cancer(stage 2). No one in our family has had cancer. Everyone was shocked. She had a small dosage of chemo(twice) which left her weak, unable to eat and bad stomach cramps. The doctor stopped the chemo, gave her some pain medication and she has been at home.
Now, June 4, 2008, her bowels have been locked for almost two weeks and she is down to 80 some pounds. They will put her in the hospital tomorrow to try and monitor the bowel blockage.
I know it’s probably over for her, but I just can’t believe this?

ok well i just turned 14 and when i was like in pre school my mom and dad divorced and when i was 6 my grandpa on my moms side died and then my grandma on my dads side got breast cancer(she survived), when i was 11 my cat that i had for nine years died(she was my little baby),when i was 12 my grandma for my dads side died from pancreatic cancer,and my dads girlfriends got in a serious car accident im close with her and she survived (they are still together) my grandpa form my dads side was diugnosed with alsimers(he is still alive at 89) and my mommy just died 4 months ago from a heart attack and im still so depressed
do u think i had a tuff life and went through alot?

I’m creating a pancreatic cancer awareness pitcher in ceramics class and will be covering it with newspaper after it’s fired. I want the newspaper to have articles or words which have to do woth fighting cancer, having hope, etc. Surprisingly it’s really hard to find them and I need to be done in a month and a half. I wanted to find a place that would let me bring my own writting and print it onto newspaper material for my project. Or a place that has tons and tons of old newspapers that would let me go through it and find articles that matched what I was looking for, them let me cut them out.
